The Buonafede family has been working in the metal carpentry sector for 4 generations. In more than seventy years of history, the company developed from a small craft entity into a cutting-edge business, active in the railway, naval, nuclear, defence and non-industrial sectors.
The company was founded by Nestore Buonafede and started as a repair and motor rewinding workshop.
In the early 1960s, when his son Filippo joined the company, they started to move into the metal construction sector.
In the 1970s, the Buonafede company moved into the construction sector and, in the 1980s, was awarded its first public contracts.
When Nino and Nestore joined it, the company was among the first ones in the sector to be certified according to the UNI EN ISO 9001 standard.
Buonafede Engineering was created to answer the need to combine production processes with research and development activities.
With Filippo joining the company, new investments have been destined for future developments, the so-called Industry 4.0.
